The Irish are fucking terrible. Just as bad as the English. British Isles in general don’t travel well .

Islands in the Canaries, or hotels in Ibiza, Majorca are places I'm thinking of. Also it depends what type of holiday you want. Sky football English spoken and beer...well if that's your bag then fine. But I know where you are and I'm not going there!

However the Canadians, what a bunch of annoying loud mouthed fuckers they can be. Which surprised me, since usually it's the Yanks, but put some Canucks near booze and it all goes tits up fast. Yeah it was Caribbean / Mexico where we encountered the fugged up Cannucks. That said, never encountered beer that was weak in eitehr place, then again I stuck mainly to the rum, tequila and mezcal

We booked a holiday in Tenerife a few years back, off the internet. Had never been before, Puerto De La Cruz sounded great. It was, but was a `German`resort. Bar up the road advertised `Live Sky Sports Football`, so went in... sat through Hamburg vs Schalke or whatever.
At the airport coming back had the misfortune to sit by some dipsticks from Essex, one of whom came out with a classic, `Innit marvellous ay, these `ere Spanish places, dunno how they do it, even little kids can speak Spanish`.

Funny, but it doesn't matter how many times you travel, you never forget that blast of pure heat the first time you get off the plane in Spain. |
