How?

Have we ended up without signing a striker, when it was our number 1 target all month. Genuinely baffling that we haven’t been able to get a deal over the line for a number 9

It's an utter disgrace. Ian Pearce needs to face the media on this instead of cowering in the back room like a coward.

It's going to be a grim atmosphere at the Hawthorns tomorrow.

We've somehow managed to weaken our striking options on deadline day!

How are we weaker than when we started the fucking day?

I think it is pretty disastrous to not go out and get someone like Surridge even if he's not that exciting. On the flip side I am excited to see more of Cleary and fully expect big Andy to turn up tomorrow.

I thought getting Anichebe instead of Lukaku would take some beating, but I think they’ve only gone and done it

I'm no fan of Robinson, but if we couldn't land a target why let him go?

Just look at all those great strikers that other Championship teams have signed today, like er.......
Forest were only likely to let Surridge go if they signed a replacement, same with Archer. If clubs won't sell (or loan) there's not a lot we can do.

As for Robinson, Bruce clearly doesn't rate him and we would be paying a lot in wages to keep the bench warm.
