And still waiting. Most of us were either too young to recall this or not even born. It’s that long.

One of my earliest Albion memories, and in my naivety I believed that my team reached a cup final every year. So it seemed at that time.

First Baggies match I ever saw live on TV, first England match was the 66 world Cup final, on both accounts its been downhill ever since.

Our League Cup win in '66 and FA Cup win in '68 absolutely cemented my allegiance to the Baggies, despite being in 110% Villa territory. Also I recall there was one kid in Junior School who wore an Albion shirt which I liked very much (the shirt, not the bloke) - not sure he even escaped with his life, such was the dominance of the Vile (and a few Dings) in that neck of the woods.

Sad that we'll never experience it again.

Wuz robbed in the semi in 2008 or whenever it was.

My first ever trip to a live game and the reason I am a Baggie all these years later.
I can still remember the sights and smells to this day.

I didn't know that we'd ever won the FA Cup.

Our contribution to the game has been largely cultural, Cyrille, Brendon and Laurie mainly.

Great to learn about the Cup win. 1968 is a long time ago though.
