It was my first full season of supporting Albion and I recall going to a very early season game when we beat Norwich 2-0 in the scorching sun.

Another milestone reached today as I attend my 1100th consecutive home match having not missed a game since the 25th August 1976. I've seen some shit!

Seriously that needs to be recognised in some way, by one of them there Albion caps maybe.

You're right. There're Albion fans in their 40's who haven't seen Albion with a really good 'team'. At least we had the late 70's early 80's when we had a superb team of honest, capable, committed and exciting players

Ditto to both. The 3 or 4 trains from Lydney depending on the route, missing them on occasions and even spending one night in the ticket office at Gloucester Station was worthwhile then. A mixture of a great team, my teenage stupidity and more rigid K.O. Also helped. Would think twice about a walk to the end of our garden to watch this shower.
