Reading - possible 9 point deduction

According to the Perce.

Points will be deducted, but how many are still under discussion. Reading pay a nonsensical amount in wages so there could be worse to come for them.

Wonder what the payment to Chelsea is for Drinkwater?

6-9 point deduction.

These figures are ridiculous

"In the 2018/19 season it was reported that Reading’s wage bill was £40m, working out as 194 per cent of their turnover.

For the following campaign their accounts revealed total accumulated losses of £138m, while their most recent pre-tax loss was £93m over a three-year period."

It does put our position into sharp focus with trying to live to our means. As painful as it is, especially when we have wasted so much, it really is the only way to operate. I'm expecting us to win the Champions League by 2050 by being the last man standing - HRK scoring the winner against the newly formed Aston Blue Wanderers in the 97th minute from a Matty Phillips cross and recording the record for being the slowest break from the half way line in history.

Funny thing is, none of these sides are even any good!
I bet the top 6 Championship sides are all taking a keen interest in each others accounts, just in case.

Crikey!

How the hell did Reading manage to do that! They paying all their players £60K a week or summert?

They made a loss of £43.5m but the total wage bill which includes all staff at the club was £37.6m. The average player wage was £17,460 per week.
