Everton have really delusions of grandeur… historic club who certainly should have done better in the last couple decades but they’re essentially a midtable club who are destined to hover between 6th and 16th.

They SHOULD be looking to attract the next Benitez, in the same way Liverpool enticed a young manager who’d just won a shock title in Spain, but instead their lack of direction upstairs means they’re resorting to a manager whose spent 3 of the last 5 seasons in the Championship or China…
