Obvious but has to be Small-town Boy. From a time when music subject matter in the charts had depth. Still recall the video very well and knowing a lad who came out at the time and had a bus driver dad who couldn't handle it, that video resonated.

Though obviously Smalltown Boy is a work of genius, and was probably so good it overshadowed everything else they ever attempted.  Never make your first song your best song.

Properly reminds me of being at Uni in the early 80s-The Age of Consent was a staple on the old Sony Walkman.
