Everton v Saints

Everton pretty much at full strength.  Rodriquez out with a minor injury but will be fit for Thursday.

1-0 ht.

Richarlison goal - defence splitting pass from Sigurdsson.  Think we'll need to play a deep line, also with any free kicks they get around the box.  Everton scored one which was fractionally offside and should have scored another with 4/5 running beyond the offside trap.

Saints making a fist of it and have probably had more possession.   Certainly making Everton work hard,  which is good.

We will do well to get a point vs Everton. Which isn't much good for us at the moment though.

It is if we can beat Newcastle. We’ll have started on a decent undefeated streak

+1

Four points from that two will be a decent return.

Anything less that four will be disastrous.

I fancy us against Everton, ironically less so against Newcastle being as it's just 72 hours later

6 would be ideal.

Everton will attack and make a game of it, so could go either way.

Newcastle will park the bus and the thought of a close, cagey match which neither Steve Bruce nor Big Sam will want to lose suggests it’ll be a dour 1-1.

...and we always draw at home with the horse punchers
