We'll be fine - the club is self-sustaining so there will always be a buyer / investor willing to take us on. They wont pay what Lai currently wants, but if it's a case of ceasing trading or moving on below asking price the latter is a no brainer.
Imagine in Suning's case they're financially draining their parent company as are Inter currently.

I suspect politics are at play. Alibaba, the Chinese eBay/drop shipping/wholesale site, lost 10% of its value last week after Beijing introduced controls on their expansion. Looks like tit for tat. Literally.
Albibaba is owned by Suning. I don’t think we need to worry about Lai monopolising shit.
