And with current averages, it looks like being 76/77 this season.
Villa need 33 points from 13 games... 2.5 points a game, when they’ve averaged less than 1.4 under Smith.
They also need to improve their GD...

So it's likely we'll need another 18-20 points to secure our play off spot. We should achieve that.

Can't see us drawing that many, and going undefeated for the rest of the season. I do think we can make 85 points though. Sheff U & Leeds are the critical games. We will have a good idea in 2 weeks where we are aiming for.
It's interesting that Leeds have QPR 72 hours before their game with us. I think this will help us. Their High Intensity game is catching up with them.
Also the 6th Round F A Cup will come into play for us. We either have Swansea 3 days before their game, or the Brentford game will be postponed. take your pick!
