Blimey when was the last time you saw anybody respond to a burglar alarm. Unless it's the type that is linked to a security company. Most people just walk past. Lots of people put up dummy alarms as a deterrent. Maybe people and countries should just obey the laws, then no one would need calling, and just because you are a bigger boy that doesn't give more rights to break it unless you're suddenly siding with power and eliteness
So macho posturing then.
Deterrent - unless of course you are in favour of people/countries breaking the law. You haven't yet said what you would do if the EU broke the law - would you still wave your extended border, patriotic, xenophobic flag and say it's all our fault - why should anyone obey another countries laws - or would you decry it. And do you think that the EU with it's moral crusade should expel countries which even the EU has said are racist (oh and according to the Eu's own report - one of the least racist countries is the UK) - I'm sure you wouldn't want to be associated with such counties
Yep, seems strange. We get a great outpouring of bile and much gnashing of teeth on here when the UK government threatens to pass a law which could possibly lead to them breaking a treaty but it’s fine by them for the EU to break International Law.
I don't think the UK has any room to take the moral high ground over breaking international law, however taking that as an excuse or defence to do the same would be the height of hypocrisy!
Anyway - now for the football and visit my bubble
