Regulator doesn't agree with Health Secretary shocker.
Matt Hancock: “Because we’ve left the EU, we’ve been able to move faster."
Dr June Raine, MHRA boss: “We’ve been able to authorise supply of this vaccine under provisions under European law which exist until January 1st.”
I wonder which one to believe?... Mog and Dorris have also tweeted similar
Can you explain why the EU hasn't been able to authorise supply of the vaccine under European Law Dekka? And is unlikely to until after Christmas?
Oh stop the Trumpist alternative facts Proth it’s embarrassing. Fact Check
If you want to beat your chest and hail a multinationally developed vaccine as a triumph for the U.K. then you go for it no matter how nonsensically jingoistic it is.
I'm not trying to make a point about Brexit. I'm asking why the EU hasn't authorised it as quickly as the UK.
Ask them.
No individual member state has approved it either, despite being allowed to without EMA approval if it meets the EU directives that the MHRA have used to determine it's safe for the UK. And the EEA and Switzerland haven't approved it either despite being allowed to approve medicine that meets the directives entirely independently of the EMA.
