I do like the intro to Politik by Coldplay which is essentially just the band banging their instruments at the same time...

Very different but great guitar intros. DBT did this one as their opening whenI saw them live with the lights switching in turn to the 4 guitarists.

Although I'm not a massive fan of him or his music, I like the intro to Robert Plant's Big log.

Another is The Grateful Dead version of Not fade away, which then leads into Going down the road feeling bad.
