I'd love a modest trip to the Wyre Forest, and the part we usually walk (the Button Oak/Earnswood side - north of the Dowles Brook) is usually very quiet. We often walk for hours midweek and see only a handful of people.

We can be there in 20/25 minutes; still not sure about doing it though

I think that part of the advice was clear - you can drive as far as you like for exercise. Let's face it, the shady characters who set the agenda for Tory policy like to get out to their favourite golf courses. I say go for it, but "be alert" and exercise "British common sense".

Having been out for the weekly shop in Aldi tonight I can tell you the ‘British common sense’ is a myth. People just strolling round without a care in blissful ignorance, trying to reach over you to get to their bread while you wait in the queue, and looking at me like i’m A fucking looney toon for wearing a mask and gloves. There’s no chance of the relaxing of the lockdown working from what I’ve seen tonight.

I totally agree with you re social distancing when shopping. I tend to say “have you not heard if the 2m rule?”. That tends to do the trick. 
However.... we will most likely all have had it by the time a vaccine is produced and administered. The government can’t afford to keep us all out of work indefinitely and as I’ve said before, it’s probably better to get it now than in the 2nd spike which will most likely come soon.
