My reasons for not considering either.

Who would you pick?

Gallagher?

It’s probably the best shout tbf. One of the only ones with a set of bollox.

However, you can’t give the captaincy to a kid that doesn’t even belong to us.

Maybe captaincy would encourage Ajayi to open his mouth. Has all the attributes but is completely silent on the pitch

Bit left field, but what about Sam Johnstone? He's probably the only shoe in starter, our best performer so far, and it would get him talking more.

Failing that, a Centre Half would be my preference, so perhaps Semi.

There really aren't that many options in fairness. Perhaps an area Sam will be looking to change in January. Oh for a Fletcher.

Yeah did think of Sam but he's a keeper and not really the position for it.

I don’t think it’s fair on him. He’s young and needs to concentrate on improving his game. 

I think I’d give it to Sam Johnstone.
