Good call - forgot Bilko had him at Leeds in the late 80s.

Who were Varadi's first and last WBA goals against?

First - Oxford home opening game
Last - Leicester

Big Grin  How the hell did you get Lester at home??  2-2 draw

Oxford at home was of course his debut

What a fucking disappointment that was.

They really were.  How we missed Thompson

We also had George "Rambo" Reily to call upon that season.

Sat on the BRE playing Sheff Wed for a midweek game in a crowd of about 6k.  Those were the days that the likes of Spurs had 13k at home to us and Arsenal had sub 20K crowds.  At least it was because we were shit.

I thought I'd look old Rambo up.  "Plymouth"!!

Reilly and Craig Madden were the pairing we finished with.  Great anecdote on "Mother's" Wiki page

Our last away game was a decent 2-2 at Highbury (Saturday at 3pm) - the crowd was 14,500!
