It's why I will always have a lot of time for the likes of Conor Townsend. Joining us was clearly a big deal for him and he's put the work in and turned into a fine player for us.

When you buy a player from a lower league/same league or a player from Europe who have never played Premier league football you are buying desire. The absolute want to play in the Premier league.

If you get the right player with the right attitude that is determined to realise his dream that has to be the best policy surely. 

You can always sprinkle them with Premier experience as long as the attitude is right. Evans and Fletcher are prime examples of that. First class attitudes probably due to Fergie tbf.
