RIP Bob.
In the 70s / early 80s was probably not quite up there with the likes of Marshall, Lillee, Hadlee, but was a damn good bowler.
Remember years back when I, briefly, paid for Sky Sports, he was commentating on the Ashes. We were getting hammered by Waugh, Taylor Boon etc, one of our medium pace trundlers was getting hit out of the ground.
Ian Chappell _ ` Well Bob, if I was an England fan , I`d be worried that they seem to pick just about anyone who can bowl`.
Bob, - `Well it worries me that they pick ones who can`t`

Used to see him enjoying a pint in the Prince of Wales, around the back of the Rep(don't know if it's still there) when he was playing for Warwickshire in the 80s with his curly mop.
Not a cricket fan myself, but well aware of his status. RIP big Bob.
