Derby laid on taxis, the players said no

It was a jokey comment based on your own club’s problems in Spain. On a serious note though, the club laid on taxis at a certain time but the players in question decided to carry on drinking for a few more hours. They could still have hired taxis when they decided to leave. They obviously decided that pissed racing sounded more entertaining instead.

They were heading back to one of the players’ flats 5 mins down the road, clearly thought they’d be ok. Why the hell they’d even consider that when they could have walked, or had one of the taxis I’ve no idea!

Absolute idiots who endangered far more lives than their own. Hope they get some form of custodial just to make them realise the severity of it. Only difference between these guys and Hughes is that Keogh survived.

…….or they could have rang Saido to come and pick them up.
I know, not your problem any more.

The irony of it is that the maximum fine is 2 weeks wages, whilst Keogh will be on the sicklist for 9-12 months.

Given that Stoke managed to sack Cider, you wonder what action Derby are considering??

If the leaked WhatsApp chat is true, they were doing more than just drinking for a few more hours. And it wasn't going to McDonald's...

Rumours flying around Bradley Johnson (now plays for Blackburn) and Mason Mount (now at Chelsea) where there.

Think some are having a field day. Could just be utter rubbish
