Anyone still claiming Gibbs should be back in the side is basically a clown.

Pathetic comment Heath, and from you

Nobody was criticizing Ferguson in the slightest, he’s been great for us and great today but even Bilic said post game he’s only playing there as both our left backs are injured, makes no sense for Ferguson or Furlong to play on the wrong side when a proper and fit left back is available

Cuzer

That's out of context. He was talking about why Ferguson was initially was picked to play there. It had nothing to do with what would happen if any of our left backs became fit.
we also have to remember Ferguson was first choice right back before Gibbs got injured and Furlong came in due to switching Ferguson to the left so it could be Furlong who misses out if Gibbs comes back in

Absolutely, no doubt long term it will be Furlong v Ferguson at RB and Gibbs left back, we’re lucky to have Gibbs as he offers so much however we’re equally lucky to have Ferguson and Furlong, great to have competition all over the pitch

Cuzer

Gibbs offers jack shit defensively, always has been a liability. Going forward different kettle of fish, but not sure that's necessarily a priority at the moment.

It’s three players for two positions. Right now Ferguson and Furlong have the shirts, but it’s a long season.

Only on the wind up Cuz, figured you'd have got that.

That said, back 4 unchangeable for the time being.

I see the issue is more of a success and its all credit to "Blic" his philosophy of we
must have 2 quality players in the squad for every position is paying dividends.

When was the last time we had such quality cover in BOTH fullback positions?
