Whatever your opinion of him I will be disappointed to see him go, a genuine character who worked hard at maintaining order in extremely divisive times and doing his best to keep balance and law in place.
Extremely colourful and entertaining whilst as I heard last night wanting to be opening bowler and bat when he should have just been umpiring.
And no matter what you think, the shower that is the Tory front bench not applauding him or shaking his hand last night shows them up for the bunch of wankers that they are. No matter what you think of someone, unless they have shagged your wife, when they leave after working with you for 10 years, shake their hand.
