I saod very similar to my dad, many many times... Trouble is, if I had offspring (which I don't) then I'd have subjected them to the pain and anguish too. It's boring supporting a successful club! Makes a man (*or woman nowadays) of ya, suffering.

It's all relative. Arsenal fans have been whinging for years, Man Utd fans full of gripery now.

For us, the highs are higher and the lows don't feel as low. That's what I tell myself anyway.
