Why are Brexiteers so angry?

They were angry, shouty and reactionary before the referendum, they win (well if you can call it that) and they are still angry, shouty and reactionary. Can’t wait to see who they blame when their angry, shouty ideals aren’t met by their own sovereign parliament. It’ll be everyone’s fault but their own if Brexit turns out shite and they will over time run out of spacegoats and be happy in their angry, shouty world again.

In fairness I think many remainers are a bit shouty too but the whole anger over the backstop which the UK caused is bizarre. They agreed with the EU no hard border in Ireland and everyone was on board with that and there was no backstop.  Then they say we also can have no hard (wet? ) border in the Irish Sea to keep the DUP happy and no customs union and no free movement of people - the combination forcing some sort of backstop if you want to preserve the original aim of no hard border.

Now they ask the EU for concessions on it without removing these red lines or offering a workable solution as if the EU had created the backstop scenario and not the UK. So that will go nowhere - adding a timeframe won't fly if you can't say what happens after the timeframe is up and no one can buy in to that. Unless the Tories are really saying they are abandoning the originally agreed no hard border stance but are afraid to say so because it effectively means they are moving away from the Good Friday agreement too.

I'm not anti Brexit per se (the fact that it is so complicated to get out of the EU is in itself a bit sinister) but it has been handled by idiots who have dug themselves in a catacomb of holes and are trying to dig another to get out of it. The biggest hole they dug was probably getting into bed with the DUP and becoming reliant on them. Can't see how they can get a deal parliament and the EU can agree on now - so no deal or no Brexit looks most likely.

Some remainers are hardly tame in putting forward their views, a few pricks both sides of the debate but none of them
match the pricks pretending to handle it all in Westminster.

Broad brush, but some Brexiteers are "something differenters." They don't want "that," they want "something different." They'll never be happy, because they will rarely get something different enough.
