I obviously don't know about those flares at Stoke the other day, but we had a couple at Charlton on Saturday. They were smuggled in by kids of 15-16 years old. Too young to be patted down as technically, they're still minors. It didn't stop them being identified by CCTV, ejected from the ground and handed over to the police. Football clubs take a very dim view of any idiots smuggling smoke cannisters into the ground. It doesn't matter what overpriced clothing they're wearing.

Prior to it closing for good, the last thing I ever did at HMV Merry Hill was have a good chat with me old mate Dave Hill. In fairness his stonewashed jeans were straight legged.
