Is it possible for an explanation as to why we need to borrow money from Barclay's bank?
This was mean't for the DM slush fund for purchases and we ended up buying nobody.
Clearly that demonstrated again our owner is not prepared to invest a single penny into the club?
If that's his stance and he can't be bothered to attend games any more, why not sell the club to someone who
is interested and would like to work with us to prosper in the future?
Do you have an odd £175M kicking around to buy the club, Remi??
Nope I don't have quite have that much, but the club having spent it's £40 million cash reserve and relegation ain't worth that much any more. My guestimate is £90 million now. The Seals soon found 2 billionaires who were prepared to invest in the club.
There are some about and with a bit of investment and promotion back to the PL the value of the club would go back to approx £125 million so it's a sound investment. With a bonus of Jenkins and Lai getting the order of the boot (well I can dream)
Without promotion, reducing parachute payments and assets leaving to try and balance the books the value of the club will continue to decline.
