If there was nothing on stage we fancied my mates and I would just decamp to a pub in the town centre. Pretty sure we watched a Villa match one Sunday morning.

Spent many enjoyable hours in the local Spoons and even missed bands I wanted to see!

Monks Retreat, Back of Beyond or Hope Tap?

The Baron Cadogan

Ah yes. The one in Caversham

My sister lives in Caversham.

Keep meaning to go to the festival but haven’t seen a lineup I’ve fancied there in years.

There now. Both tents and airbeds up. Sat in chairs sorted. Might sleep for 4 days. I'm knackered. Crickets already delayed for rain. Wanted to stream that this afternoon.

Well after walking all through the campsites from white through to the town centre and the delights of the wetherspoons I can definitely say we are in the best site of the lot. There's people pitched up in dustbowls next to the paths with thousands of people walking past next to the bins and toilets!!
