Like Depeche Mode, sort of dismissed them when they first emerged, but came to realise they were releasing quality single after quality single.

Love the story of when Primal Scream were support for Depeche Mode on their US support. Primal Scream's management were working hard on getting their band on the straight and narrow and they thought that being on a stadium tour would concentrate their minds on avoiding 'excess'. Unfortunately they had underestimated by a considerable distance Depeche Mode's appetite for excess - they had to pull Primal Scream from the tour to save them from the bad influence of Depeche Mode .
