Hi Loyalist.

Not a loyalist. Couldn’t give a fuck about Ireland. Do care about justice.

Do you think McLean was involved in the pub bombings then?

I was never one to slag off McClean and agree that it's good to at least see someone who gives a toss......

........but Jones playing him up front is really bizarre, even if he caused some issues in a previous game. He's not an attacking force and when things do click for him his strength is running from deep

From comments he's made, I think Jones sees himself as someone who can coach players into new positions. I suspect he's also already reached a point of utter frustration with our other strikers that he'll play someone out of position to let the others know they're not performing as he wants them to.

I think Trapattoni and O’Neill both used him as a lone striker for Ireland on occasion so he certainly has experience in the role. Think he may have played there for Wigan when they got relegated from the  Champ too - not that that’s a ringing endorsement!

It sounds like Jones isn't that thrilled with McClean:

Man management clearly not Nathan Jones strong point.

That's a concern of mine. The mentality of millionaire ex-Premier League players is probably different than that of professionals eeking a living in the lower leagues. What worked at Luton might not be the best fit at Stoke. Just don't ask me what would be the best fit.
