Covid postponements

Clubs are being very selfish with Covid, they may have a couple with the disease but they now put players with other injuries and away at Ofcom into the equation so they will be able to play the games when these players are back. Arsenal tomorrow is the next club trying to get a match postponed. Why oh why can’t we be like the rest of Europe and carry on regardless. Kids need a chance this Pandemic could give them that chance.

Lazy footballers, watching telly all day. No wonder they haven’t got time to play.

Stupid Premier League rules regarding what constitutes a 'first-team player', i e. an appearance in FA Cup or League Cup doesn't count. It would be interesting to see what these clubs did if Covid wasn't around. Cry off because of injuries and Afcon? Seemingly if you have 12 players unavailable due to injuries and AFCON and one other with Covid you can call a game off. Ridiculous.

Disgraceful that the NLD has been postponed.

Any non-Covid absences should be ruled out of the rearranged fixture IMO but with the transfer market open it’s pretty difficult to enforce when it comes to players that have since joined/left the club.

I said weeks ago no games should be postponed, most prem clubs have at least 40-50 professionals and should just get on with it.  (Chelsea have about 70!)

It's interesting that where games are postponed now, injuries, general illness and even AFCON are being thrown in as factors, absolute joke.

By choice Arsenal have loaned out Balogun and AMN .. maybe more. They have only said Odergaard has tested positive as far as I know. AFCON and suspensions should not be an excuse to cancel.
And those scummers from Liverpool .. 40 false positives?? WTF?
