Exactly! Although I’m not keen anyway as it is indeed a move towards a more intrusive state, as has been said above.
But the main point is it is coercing people into medical interventions to be able to have the same freedoms in society. It’s coercing people into vaccines (two a year?) and if you don’t want them for any reason, you are penalised. It’s abhorrent.
And the way Johnson has gone from ‘we’re not a society that would require this’ to it’s clearly on the table in a few weeks is blatant goalpost moving.
I completely agree. I genuinely think we must be losing our minds, it's insane to me that this is even being proposed, never mind having public support. I'm not underestimating the impact of COVID, but this isn't a solution by any stretch of the imagination.
