I agree they've been criminally incompetent, but was it really clear before Christmas how this was going?

Yes, I've been putting the hospitalisation figures up since October, if i can see it and post the figures I'm pretty sure it was really clear before Christmas.

Maybe they don't read WBAUnofficial?

How much clearer would you like it?

There was ONE case of Covid 19 at P-Majors secondary school the day she broke up. I'd like it clearer please.

Presume you're talking about 2019 here?

Which Christmas are we talking about here? This Christmas!

My sons school had six people in one class and closed two year groups down due to an outbreak.

They were lucky then.
Despite following guidelines as carefully as we could we had every year group apart from Year 8 out between September and Christmas.
One year group twice.
I've also heard of teachers being hospitalised.

9 year olds Primary had 0 cases.

12 year olds secondary had cases in every year. Years 7,8, and 10 twice. Years 9 and 11 thrice!

Nonsense. You can’t control a virus, I see cases on the rise again in Aus now

The one big advantage we had over many other countries is that we are an island. And every time the government had to make a decision they chose wealth over health. Then did a u-turn when it became obvious they had made the wrong decision in the first place.

But as long as the airports  continued to operate (and ours are amongst the busiest),  we were snookered on that front.
