RE: Sturridge - Pragmatist - 03-02-2020

I believe they had to be already free agents as at the end of the transfer window in order to be able to sign for a new English club now ?

Correct, couldn’t play for anyone in the leagues until June. Think he could play on non-contract in non-league or Scotland.

Have to wonder why he'd choose to terminate his contract now, if that's the case. At 30, you'd think he would still want to play this season.

Maybe we saw the best of him...

Rolleyes
Odd.
Shame that injuries ruined his career. For 5 minutes for us you could see a class player there.
Worth a punt next season if we go up?
Pay as you play, back in the West Midlands?

Just read that too GON.

Still had only marginally more game time in his 4 months with us, than he will in the next 4 months!
