Much prefer that.

We look so much more dangerous winning the second ball 50-60 yds out.

He overhit a fair few today though, straight back to their keeper. Still think we can do a bit of both as we look dangerous playing through the middle as well.

I’ve never understood why,when we pull the centre halves in to play it short, that SJ doesn’t launch it because the opposition have opened up anyway ready to close us down.

Have to laugh at some Albion fans. Moaning when he played it short. Then moaned when he played it long. Johnstone did fine today. Although Luton were not great to say the least.

Improved today albeit not much to do but imho needs to be dropped as his confidence is shot. Watched him and the other keepers closely in the warm up and even my 13yr old grandson said Johnstone looks a bag of nerves compared to Bond who looked calm and assured.
