Think I’d be tempted to have Austin starting ahead of Zohore

Agreed. A win on Wednesday would really set us up & give confidence a real boost.

Can see it being a cracker on Wednesday.high scoring. Options off the bench compared to Millwall in league much better. Austin, Pereira & Edwards can be dangerous subs.

Austin really should have scored from his effort off the post. He’s still getting his fitness up.

Zohore has a good second half and deserves to keep his place for me. (For now).

Reading had a good result today, but Gomes showed last season he will dig in and do the defensive work first, so I see another frustrating game of few chances to begin with.

Joao and Puscas are also 6ft+ and will carry a threat in the air so think they'll keep it tight and try and swing a few balls in when they get the chance.

Zohore has done little to deserve dropping, but I think Austin's goal threat will be more crucial than Zohore's hold-up work... I also think Zohore is better suited to starting Saturday.

Pereira best off the bench for now. Matty P needs a performance on Wednesday tho.

I just think he will make a few changes B36. We play again on Saturday at lunchtime.

RE: Team for Reading? - WorcBaggie - 08-18-2019

As the OP says, Diang for Edwards in only change for me. Derby will look after itself post-Reading

RE: Team for Reading? - MassDebater - 08-19-2019

I think Slav may go for Austin and Zohore...at least for part of the game, unsure which will start if both don't.
