When's our second tier coming.....Jenkins out

RE: Expansion - Duffers - 02-11-2019

I’ve heard a whisper that Jenkins is looking at upgrading from a two to three seat sofa in the chairman’s office.

RE: Expansion - The liquidator - 02-11-2019

Fair play to them

RE: Expansion - Cunninghamismagic - 02-11-2019

Our capacity has dropped from 28k to 26.5k. Jenkins looking to push it below 25k

RE: Expansion - Only one real Albion - 02-11-2019

Can't get too caught up in what they are doing. The future looks so rosy for them as long as Fosun is about. Our 8 years as top dogs over them has counted for nothing thanks to the super deep pockets of their Chinese owners.
I think if we are honest, we have a good fan base but not one that can tap in to the geography of Wolves capabilities.
As has been said before, we should be looking at a similar just over 30k capacity to Leicester, Southampton etc. We're a decent Halfords Lane away from that.

RE: Expansion - TETLEY74 - 02-11-2019

Think 32k would be more than enough for us, unless we start winning a cup or two.

He's monitoring the DFS website for details of the Christmas sale  - for 2027

RE: Expansion - Baggie Rick - 02-11-2019

Football goes in cycles, we've had best part of a decade being above those unwashed cunts. Let them enjoy it, can't see them breaking into the top 6, they'll be the best of the rest until Fosun get bored.

Yup... and if they do manage to beat all the odds and do it, it’ll become as soulless as all the other top sides.

Frustration is that JP decided he wanted to sell when we should have been laying the foundations to expand ourselves as a club, and as a result we have little to show, other than the academy, from our years in the PL.

Personally, I couldn’t care less about what our stadium capacity is, I’m just disappointed that in all our time as top dogs we never picked up a cup or had a Euro adventure, whereas sadly I think they’ll get one sooner rather than later.

"super deep pockets of their Chinese owners."  Add banks to that. Thomas Cook is not a stock market darling at the moment!
