Water shortage in Kent - Borin' Baggie - 12-04-2025 Lib Dem MP for the area Capt Dr Mike Martin and the Lib Dem district council raise the alarm, publicise the issue, scrutinise the water company and organise meetings with government and the EA. Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey brings it up yesterday at PMQs to pressure the PM into a public response. Reform leader of Kent County Council says nothing until AFTER PMQs and is saying it's now been "declared an emergency" by the council. What the hell were you doing before PMQs? Pathetic, she should resign. God help us if these feckless charlatans and morons end up running the country. How does the PM make a public comment on an issue before the leader of the council? She really is as she appears too. We would benefit from the kind of privatisation that allows shareholders to gain from public sector infrastructure, take dividends out for almost 40 years and then pass on the cost of infrastructure upgrades to future customers.
