Tremendous. When the ball is played to him back to goal I haven’t seen him dispossessed yet. So young too - can only get better. Just doesn’t quite have the time he thinks he has in front of goal. Hope he starts scoring because that would really cheer him up and make for a diamond find.

I want to see him add goals, to stop fans using that as a stick to beat him with. He's an asset if he carries on with performances like today. Goals, or not. Having a genuine hold up striker is going to be really positive for us.

Add a Odemwingie style forward on the right wing and he's going to be amazing. Not seen hold up play like his since Fortune, and like Fortune, isn't going to score loads himself, but with the right Ayers around him, he'll be a great asset.

From what jve seen so far looks a unit and a very intelligent player who can only improve when he adds goals to his game will a frightening prospect for any defence.

He needs to develop in terms of his decision making in terms of when to shoot etc but that will come with time and experience of playing at this level. I can’t remember us having a striker with such physical strength since Lukaku (not comparing him to Rom) and his hold up play is excellent. He won’t be prolific but with a three of Mikey, Isaac and A.N Other behind him who he can bring in to play there is great potential for an exciting forward line even after the disappointment of losing Tom.
