Russophobia - SausEggBaton - 05-09-2023
No, not an irrational fear of people called Russ or Russell, but it is a dislike or fear of Russia, the Russians, Russian culture, or Russian policy.
President Putin today, blamed the West for sowing seeds of "hatred and Russophobia".
Perhaps if he didn't invade countries unnecessarily, and bomb and kill innocent people, there wouldn't be any so called Russophobia.

Amazing how many Russians who have made the same point over the last 12 months have died mysteriously, by accidently falling out of 10th storey windows, being found hung in an aparrent suicide, accidently run over by a steamroller etc

To be honest, any group that bleats incessantly about victimhood AND adds "-ophobia" as a suffix to their cause is usually of less than benign intent.

There's not been enough Russophobia, frankly.
For starters, they should never have been allowed to host the Winter Olympics or the World Cup. The immensely soft ride Russia got during the latter, despite annexing Crimea and bombing schools and hospitals in Syria, compared to Qatar (who for all their issues, are not invading other countries), is an international disgrace.
