Bonkers... New contract on the 25th October... Sacked on the 10th November!

Thing is, in the championship with games coming so relentlessly it can all go pear-shaped very quickly and get people twitchy.
For instance with us we were having an underwhelming time, but some defeats added to them made a bad situation quickly look far worse.
I do agree that it is bonkers, but can see how so many lose their heads.

Not sure you can compare wings and us, Spandau.

We were tipped to be up the top end of the table for 18 months. One manager was sacked for being 5th, and another oversaw a not so steady decline for 12 months.

LR kept them up in L1 in administration, saved a players life, got them promoted in a short string and was getting rave reviews. It smacks of desperation and panic by Wigwam sadly.

Ridiculously harsh sacking, but Richardson must be laughing his head off with 3 years' money in the bank!

He'll get another job in no time, he did a bloody good job at Wigan and is very much considered the brains behind the success Paul Cook had for so long.

As I said it is bonkers, but that's the way now. He will certainly get a better gig than them.

RE: Liam Richardson - Remi_Moses - 11-10-2022

Better to dismiss a manager too early then too late.

Bottom of the league is quite underwhelming, considering Spudyed promised us promotion, I'm not sure how it could look any worse!
Re Richardson, has he clashed with the board or summat? Seems a mental decision and I guess that's one less relegation spot to worry about.
