Traces - baggiebloke - 01-22-2021

Will be watching the final two episodes of this BBC drama tonight. Set in Dundee, a murder scenario with a strong cast, I'd give it a 7.5/10 rating at this point. A strong climax may push it to a higher score.

Some things to note:

John Gordon Sinclair has morphed into Shaun Ryder over the years, pointy ears, red face, et al. But, much more pertinent is that one of the main characters is astonishingly alike our very own SuperBob:

Bump. Titty.

its a great storyline but at times the acting and dialogue is a little below par but a good watch nonetheless

It was ok but agree the acting and dialogue is clunky at times and it stretches chance / coincidence to breaking point.

Just started watching it.

Next thing you know she walks past Two Tubs in Bury. A mile n half from my house!

Really enjoyed 95% of the series.

But the ending felt a little rushed, maybe because of covid. And the obvious green screen embrace at the end probably confirms it.

Shame as the plot was well put together and the characters grew quite well. But the lack of a real 'unravelling' was dissapointing.

Agree. Good build up, but the perpetrator was revealed at the end of ep. 5 and the last episode was basically a tension-free explanation of what had happened. Disappointing.

Yep. The ending was odd.

There were some really good performances but the Emma character was portrayed with strange clunkiness.

7.25/10
