Harry Kane - Duffers - 11-01-2020

Just seen his career stats posted on Twitter, they are absolutely ridiculous.

149 goals in 217 Premier League games
35 goals in 59 European games
32 goals in 48 England games
14 goals in 20 FA Cup games
9 goals in 35 Championship games
5 goals in 13 EFL Cup games
5 goals in 18 League One games

249 goals in 410 career games.

Still only 27, surely (barring any catastrophic injuries) he’s on course to break Shearer’s PL record and probably Rooney’s England record.

Even more remarkable considering for the few years of his career he looked nothing special.

I wonder what Saido Berahino is thinking right now. Had he got the move to Tottenham he could have been on par. The “non move” killed Saido

Spurs signed Son instead when the deal didn’t happen. I’m going to suggest that Berahino would not have had the same impact.

He never looks anything special to me but as those stat' s prove he is ridiculously effective.

Son for me is the one I love to watch in that side.

RE: Harry Kane - Birdman1811 - 11-01-2020

Kane is an example of a decent, but unspectacular player, realising what they are good at, and being the best they can at it, surrounding themselves with fitness experts, people who are successful and driven themselves and always trying to be better every day.

Berahino was what happens when a very talented player decides he is a gangster.

RE: Harry Kane - HawkingsHalfpint - 11-01-2020

Kane is a model pro. He deserves these rewards.

Talent will only get you so far. Especially when your body starts to complain more as your birthday cake gets brighter.

It’s a fair point. In 13/14 SB was well ahead. And also the first part of 14/15.

Kane looked so ordinary. Did v little in a loan spell at Leicester- then in the Champo
