I don’t think MSD would demand payback but they will look and see that the Patel group will easily have the means to pay back the loans. But we will see.

I would point out that we have entered into a period of exclusivity and every other source including Percy are saying it is the American bidders. On that basis I think we can discount the Farnell Group and NOAH football. That leaves Shilen Patel and that bid is reported to be favoured by MSD.
MSD have always had a pivotal role in this. If they have an opinion on anything to do with the club what they say goes because if for whatever reason they chose to demand the loan repaid then the club is in administration which is game over for Lai or any other prospective owner, unless they have £28m plus the interest to tell MSD to go to hell. I don't think the other suitors have that kind of money.
I suspect therefore that Shilen Patel is the party in the final stages of the takeover.
I would be very surprised if MSD had the right to demand the loans are repaid, unless in the event of default.
Would’ve thought it’s fairly standard that a change in ultimate control can lead to a formal demand but Prag/KKC would probably be the best people to advise on that.

Change of Ownership needs consent, and can lead to default. The whole point is that MSD won't consent unless they are going to be repaid.

Hope your right Captain, Patels seem a decent sort. I also hope the process is further down the line than some seem to think. Need it done to help out Carlos. Yes I do know that we cannot spend but it will stabilise the club and bring optimism for the future.
