Reform selects thin-skinned narcissist with a record of some pretty "interesting" opinions.

Plus ca change, as they say in Calais.

I doubt Goodwin will be seen much in Gorton, he'll spend the campaign in Denton attacking many of the people who live in Gorton.

By "interesting", you mean ethno-nationalist I presume?

I'd love to see this supercillious twat lose. On his recent appearance on QT, seemed to bring everything back to immigration.

Oh look, Goodwin is lying about being the first in his family to go to uni when his dad had an MBA and was in the middle of doing a PhD when Goodwin was a teenager. What is it with people on the right trying to pretend they're more working class than they actually are?

There should be a mandatory tag-line when it comes to the media mentioning such people eg. "Goodwin (lied about being first in his family to go to uni)", especially if it's relevant i.e. when talking about education. Politicians are getting away with too much blatant dishonesty and it needs to be called out at every possible opportunity.

Can I suggest we compile a bingo card of spurious present and retrospective claims from the Reform candidate during this campaign?

I was the first in my immediate family to go to University (Polytechnic actually) btw (also sink comp, black & white TV etc), but God forbid I'd consider myself working class any more.

What's the thought here then, pro-Palestine independent taking enough of the Labour vote to ensure Goodwin gets in?

Of course. Let's hope they don't bring some of the Yardley / Ladywood "pro-Palestinian independent" tactics to the streets of Gorton.

Not running i believe.

Greens favourite with the bookies, and given the demographics of the constituency and the Reform candidate  you can see why.

Labour i suspect will be a distant third.
