Missed that

So the Aussies claiming a catch on the first bounce?

Not that clear cut. They had every right to claim it. Poor from the third umpire.

Good one handed catch , but looked to have grounded the ball briefly

Sorry, educate me. I always thought Mark Taylor was a fair player. Don`t like the Aussies but , some were ok. Remember an appeal for a caught behind, and Mike Gatting said that if Ian Healy said it was out, then fair enough. Adam Gilchrist was also pretty fair from what I have heard.

I’m sure it was Steve Waugh who was captain when a catch was blatantly grassed in the WI in 95. Aus became no 1.   WI collapsed and never recovered

Sounds right. What with that, the underarm ball, the iron bat, Warner punching a youthful Joe Root,  there's nothing to like about the convicts. Well, maybe Gilchrist wasn't so bad but the rest.....

Can't wait for Friday! We could only get tickets in the no alcohol stand, but I'm sure we'll manage to sneak something in....
