Given all the players they've bought this summer, I did wonder whether we'd be in for any Sunderland players. Defensively, they were excellent last season, so maybe they'll have someone that can improve us in that area...

Harry Whitwell has just been announced as signing a new contract. Maybe that counts as one!
I think he'll be loaned out, as he needs regular first team football to develop. That woud however mean it's another player we need to replace...It's a very big 3 weeks or so to come.

Pretty random Mowatt to Derby almost done rumours on X.
Strange given he started yesterday. A player I'd be reluctant to sell without at least 2 new signings in midfield.

Josh will be gutted if that happens!
Although I like Mowatt he's definitely not irreplaceable. I think we should be looking for someone better even if he does stay, and then use him as back up.

No brainer if we get a fee as he has one year left, will be a high earner and was pretty poor in the last half of last season.

Agree, a decent player for this level but him and Molumhy don’t function well together, so would be find moving either for the right fee. Given salary and contract left, Mowatt the more obvious option.
