Does anyone else think Lepko makes out he knows more then he does when questioned? Gone from knowing him quite well to now saying he’s only seen him play at youth levels.

As I recall, CL & most of the other brilliant, knowledgeable journo's were saying how WBA fans would be blown away by the signing.   Rolleyes

In fairness most of us thought it was quite a coup.

What we didn’t realise was that Greg was coming over for a gap year/sightseeing tour.

Diangana has already played in the 1st team at West Ham. He's very highly rated and they tied him down to a 6 year contract last year, certainly no mug.

+1

Very good prospect who Bilic knows well. If we are going to loan youngsters then this is the sort you want who know the whole coaching team well and will easily settle in.

Makes total sense to me. It would also signal the Periera deal is dead.

Leaves us more money to throw at the striker situation.
That last sentence made sense until "to throw at the striker situation."

I'm pre-rating the days business as a 4/10, must try harder, based on a young Pole, two loanee 'Ammers, no Gayle, and a January cash "mountain."

Exactly and he turned out to be a major disappointment.

Who knows how good/bad the fella is - he is only young and appears to be improving so could flourish with us. Or he may find the Championship too tough and be a total flop. I am hoping that if we do sign him that he is the gamble signing and we sign another striker also. Time will tell.

Can't say I'm impressed with the names being linked, we have a great chance to do something this season and two or three quality players would really give us a chance of promotion.

Come on Albion, don't fuck it up.

Very true, I was astounded by the deal, especially when they said, we were paying all his wages.

His neck muscles were like a bull's when he finished though thanks to the capped twat
