RE: The managerial shortlist - Remi_Moses - 01-15-2025 We had issues when big Dave took over, we were waiting and waiting for his No2 to be revealed. Only to find out he was busy with Belgium. Surely we learnt lessons on this occasion I'm sure someone will step up sooner or later. Remember they aren't getting a massive transfer pot to play with and we need a few new faces. Who ever comes in, fingers crossed he can entice a few strikers to join us. RE: The managerial shortlist - Squid - 01-15-2025 When you sack a manager, it's almost a Back to the Drawing Board scenario. What they were doing wasn't working, so fresh ideas are required, which means you can draw the net a bit wider. While not perfect, Corberan was doing a very good job here. He also had a very specific way of coaching and preparing the players, which they all bought into. We need someone who can build on that without too much disruption and that narrows the field down considerably. As for Wicky, I'm starting to suspect he's been out of work for a while for a reason. RE: The managerial shortlist - Bob Fossil - 01-15-2025 A bit like invisible shoeings, is a list a list if there's no-one on it? RE: The managerial shortlist - CarlosCorbewrong - 01-15-2025 What's the club record for a gaffer-faff? Irvine? Can we get to 100 pages? Irvine? I can 100% state I'm not in the know. Feel Bilkul need some good PR for the club after a bruising 3 weeks (no fault of their own imo). It all points to a quick TM appointment after he was given the all clear medically. RE: The managerial shortlist - man in the corner shop - 01-15-2025 And we can say that we were prepared for all eventualities, having lists of lists for every eventuality....but we were just waiting for our man. PR perfection Even if we know it's bollix RE: The managerial shortlist - albion_pigeon - 01-15-2025 (01-15-2025, 12:17 PM)Remi_Moses Wrote:(01-15-2025, 12:01 PM)rsbaggy2 Wrote:(01-15-2025, 11:49 AM)wba13 Wrote: A new name. Appearing at 33/1, yes long odds , John O’Shea ex UTD defender. Probably his agent touting him around. Building a house for his chicks for the winter.
