To be fair I know nothing about him at all but 1 in 4 in the Polish league doesn't exactly scream out what we're looking for.

Last year he was 1 in 2... so at 23, he's showing improvement...
Then again I have zero idea of the Polish league or whether Pogoń Szczecin are any good...so maybe he just moved to a better team!?

Not true. The clause can be and often is negotiated out, usually by paying a loan fee.
Ideally there should be a mid-window cut-off date by when any recall option must be recognised, to provide the club with ample time to replace the departing loanee.

Why would I be offended? Just saying that being of Polish descent doesn’t automatically make him an authority on Polish football.
