That's my onion too RE: Minneapolis - Ournextstriker - 01-25-2026 Let’s be quite clear about this, the American government are murdering its own citizens and then lying about it. That is the action of a fascist state. RE: Minneapolis - tHEgLASSdOORS - 01-25-2026 YIt is, and as I say what you effectively have now is a massive legitimised militia carrying out that enforcement. I’m amazed anyone still wants to go on a holiday - on a moral or safety basis - to a country where that is now normalised. Imagine the narrative if it was China or Russia RE: Minneapolis - TETLEY74 - 01-25-2026 (01-25-2026, 09:20 AM)richbaggie Wrote:Exactly this and he will do this in a few states then use as an excuse to suspend and rewrite the constitution so he can never be voted out of office, god help us all. Pity that guy on the roof wasnt a better marksman but then again im convinced that was stage managed to get him over the election line. The good ol U.S OF A is going to hell in a hand cart it seems and the world will pay the price.(01-25-2026, 09:14 AM)Duffers Wrote:(01-25-2026, 08:11 AM)tHEgLASSdOORS Wrote: You’d have to think American is a tinderbox waiting to go up at the moment. RE: Minneapolis - AlsoKeithCurlesToePoke - 01-25-2026 The nub of the issue is that some states not only do not enforce immigration laws, they actively oppose them. What you are seeing is the use of Federal militias to enforce the Acts of Union on the recalcitrant states. Which is pretty much how their last civil war started - who rules? Then again, there's always mad stuff like this going on (enforcing mixed schooling with the National Guard / Kent State) so realistically it's one of those things that happens there every ten or twenty years and most likely will blow over. Not exactly the first time American agencies have employed disproportionate aggression. Truth in a lot of that but it would appear to me that the way in which the population is now split in half and the demographics of that split on both sides is incomparable to the eras you’re trying to reference above RE: Minneapolis - WorcsWBA - 01-25-2026 (01-25-2026, 09:14 AM)Duffers Wrote:(01-25-2026, 08:11 AM)tHEgLASSdOORS Wrote: You’d have to think American is a tinderbox waiting to go up at the moment. As was the case with Renee Good, the "both sides" media reporting of Alex Pretti's murder is absolutely nauseating and tacitly supports Trump and his cronies. The videos show what happened as plain as day and the Administration's lies about what happened should be called out as lies. RE: Minneapolis - AlsoKeithCurlesToePoke - 01-25-2026 Video doing the rounds on Telegram that appears to show the handgun he's just been relieved of going off in the hand of the Fed who's carrying it away. Could be an unintentional discharge, seeing as how it's a Sig it could have gone of on its own (look up the lawsuits - 100 examples of this). Either way, would make the response more understandable. In the heat of the moment you hear a shot from near a bloke you just heard had a gun, it's probably going to go the way it did. Just like the last one, both sides are going to see what they want to see if (if) that's how it panned out. I had a conversation with Jo'B on LBC last year about the healthy distrust of the Federal Government by States and the population in general in the US. Amongst the electorate it's what led to Trump IMO. When they booted us out they were rejecting tyranny. It's the foundation of the Constitution, it's where the right to bear arms comes from - protection from the overbearing State. Unfortunately in healthily refusing to elect Harris, who's the absolute epitome of the deep state - Americans have elected a tyrant. What's happening in the Twin Cities wouldn't happen in any other Western country - yet. US liberals, having spent decades campaigning for this and that of no consequence ought to have saved their energy for this. It is, in most respects, literally the fight of their lives. I hope that's put to bed once and for all any suggestion that I have any sympathies towards Reform. RE: Minneapolis - baggy1 - 01-25-2026 When he’s on the floor and you’ve already put a couple of rounds into him, in the heat of the moment if you are a professional you will stop shooting. These are untrained nut jobs. |
