Manchester Academy 2 is the room on the first floor above the main student union bar. Probably holds about 800/900. Not been to anything there for a while but went to lots of gigs there when I was at uni and it was always a good venue with decent sound.

I saw Jim Jones All Stars for the first time tonight at the H&H. They were great! Proper balls out rock n roll. Quite annoyed with myself that it's so late in life that I've tried them
